Synergy Dance Company

syn·er·gy [sin-er-jee] –noun, plural -gies. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The word synergy comes from two Greek words: erg meaning “to work”, and syn meaning “together”; hence, synergy is a “working together.”

jeffrey-david-sepaIn 2010, Jeff & Lindsey Sepa founded the Synergy Dance Company with the motivation to begin this endeavor being two-fold. First, this dance company would serve as a vehicle to give the students that wanted to take their skills to the next level the opportunity to dance and perform more, in a non- competitive environment. Second, and more importantly, we wanted to instill in our dancers a need to give back to their community. Through sharing their gifts and talents with the community, our students learn to be respectful, confident and conscientious young people.

A truly collaborative effort, the dance company is co-directed by husband and wife duo, Jeff & Lindsey Sepa, who maintain the highest standards while striving to provide a positive experience for all. At Christmastime, our company performs the holiday show entitled ”Nuts & Crackers – A quirky holiday revue”. This year the show is at the Adams Theater, at Avon Old Farms School.

For those that wish to join our company, auditions are open to students age 9 and older and take place each Spring.
